Hanneke Friesen

Orthopedagoog & QEEG-Lab operator / trainer

In march 2002 I graduated in educational science from the Radboud University Nijmegen. In the first year after graduation, I was active in several jobs as a freelance educational scientist. In this period I was occupied with testing children with reading and writing difficulties in primary schools and secondary schools. The period shortly after, I worked for Diagnostisch Centrum Viataal in Nijmegen (an organization for people who experience difficulties with communication skills in the broadest sense of the word).

Since 2005 I worked as a psychology assistant and junior advisor for a school counseling service Marant Educatieve Diensten in Tiel and Elst. I was mainly occupied with performing didactical, neuropsychological en personality assessments with students which have learning problems (a.o. dyslexic, dyscalculia) and/or behavioural problems (a.o. ADHD, PDD-NOS, NLD) in primary schools.

When I got the opportunity to work at Brainclinics, I reached for this chance. Since may 2006 I work at Brainclinics Diagnostics as a Neurofeedback therapist, lab operator and lab trainer. I'm - among other things - responsible for Neurofeedback training, running the QEEG-assessments and the neuropsychological tests. Furthermore I'm research assistant in the iSPOT-A study (ADHD) and partly responsible for the supervision of trainees.
