Neurofeedback apparatuur:

NeXus-10 Mark II sensoren
EXG Sensor NeXusThe unique EXG Sensor NeXus is used for various trainings, and treatments, such as the treatment of chronic tension headache, stress management training and ADHD Neurofeedback. The NeXus EXG Sensor is a dual channel sensor that delivers 2 signals of EEG, sEMG, ECG, EOG, or any combination.

EXG ground NeXusThe EXG ground NeXus is required when using the NeXus EXG Sensor in order to guarantee signal quality. It connects to the ground input (Gnd.) of the NeXus-4, NeXus-10 or NeXus-32.

Skin Conductance Sensor NeXusThe NeXus Skin Conductance Sensor provides information about sweat gland activity on the hand. Sweat gland activity is closely correlated with sympathetic nervous system activity, arousal and stress. This variable is called SCA (Skin Conductance Activity), EDA (ElectroDermal Activity), or the more classic term GSR (Galvanic Skin Response). |
|
|
| |
Temperature Sensor NeXusThe NeXus Temperature Sensor has been designed for monitoring very small temperature changes in the peripheral extremities. A stressful event, arousal or in other words, sympathetic nervous system activity, can lead to a vasoconstriction in the peripheral extremities, causing a decrease in temperature

Blood Volume Pulse Sensor NeXusThe NeXus Blood Volume Pulse (BVP) Sensor is used to measure heart rate and monitor relative blood flow. By using this sensor the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) can be acquired: this refers to the rise and fall of heart rate synchronized with breathing (faster on inhale, slower on the exhale). The magnitude of this systematic variability seems to reflect a healthy alternation between two autonomic influences of the heart beat: sympathetic and parasymphathetic. By calming one's emotional state and by making the breathing slower and more regular, the HRV can be increased, at least temporarily. Use the NeXus Respiration Sensor in combination with the NeXus BVP Sensor in order to monitor both breathing and heart rate.

Respiration Sensor NeXusThe Respiration NeXus sensor is used to monitor abdominal or thoracical breathing, in applications such as stress management and relaxation training. Besides measuring breathing frequency, this sensor also gives you an indication of the relative depth of breathing. In combination with the NeXus Blood Volume Pulse Sensor you have a great tool for monitoring Heart Rate Variability. Respiration can influence your heart rate, when breathing in a certain way. When breathing around 6 times per minute, one will notice that the heart rate will go faster on inhale and slower on exhale.

Blood Volume Pulse Head Sensor NeXusThe NeXus Blood Volume Pulse (BVP) Head Sensor is used to measure relative blood flow. It has been especially designed for biofeedback training addressing migraine by training vasodilatation and vasoconstriction. The NeXus BVP Head Sensor uses optical electronics measuring near infrared light to determine the relative blood flow.

EXG Sensor TP NeXusThe NeXus EXG Sensor TP offers you two channels for touch proof (TP) connections electrodes . The sensor connects to a variety of different electrodes for different purposes. For EEG monitoring or Neurofeedback we offer the NeXus Minicap Electrodes which are re-usable electrodes that can be used hundreds of times. You could also consider using electrodes from other manufacturers, like the well known cup electrodes for EEG. Besides EEG, the TP (2mm) connection can be used for different vaginal and rectal incontinence electrodes. Note: measuring electrophysiological signals always requires a ground. Therefore when using this sensor make sure to also use the EXG Ground TP NeXus.

EXG Ground Sensor TP NeXusThe NeXus EXG Ground TP is required when using touch proof (TP) NeXus sensors, such as the NeXus EXG Sensor TP and the Nexus Slow Cortical Potential Sensor, in order to guarantee signal quality.

| |
Slow Cortical Potential Sensor NeXusThe NeXus Slow Cortical Potential (SCP) Sensor has been especially designed for measuring slow cortical potentials, which are signals in the lower range of the EEG spectrum (<1 Hz) . Slow cortical potentials are used in Neurofeedback for applications such as ADHD and Epilepsy. You can use a variety of different electrodes, but we recommend the use of sintered electrodes like our NeXus Minicap Electrodes because of their superior signal stability.

Hemoencephalography Sensor NeXusHemoencephalography (HEG) is a technique to measure the (relative) blood flow inside the brain. It appears that blood flow is poor in certain brain areas of persons suffering from several types of "brain problems" (e.g. ADD/ADHD, autism). Some researchers have found that the blood flow in the brain can be improved with biofeedback training in much the same way as EEG biofeedback. Combining HEG biofeedback with EEG biofeedback may shorten the number of sessions dramatically, and also may improve the success rate.

Oximetry Sensor NeXusThe NeXus Oximetry Sensor measures the relative amount of oxygen present in the blood (% saturation), which would normally be between 95 and 100%. People suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) may have a decreased oxygen level. Respiratory feedback (using the NeXus Respiration Sensor) could improve oxygen levels. The NeXus Oximetry Sensor allows therapists to monitor the improvement. The sensor is placed on the finger and connects to the digital input of the NeXus-10 or NeXus-32.
